ELASTOMER TESTING
Elastomer and rubber testing instruments are used for quality control, research as well as product development. It covers a wide range of applications and objectives including the evaluation of compounds and material properties. These properties can be used to predict the strength and performance in the final product applications.

Elastomer Testing Products
Viscometer and Rheometer
Viscometer And Rheometer Description
MODEL : MDR Elastograph/S, RPA Visco-Elastograph, Mooney Viskosimeter, Rubber Capillary Rheometer
Cabinet Ageing Oven
Elastocon's cabinet ovens meet most ISO and ASTM standards for testing rubber and plastic materials. Depending on model, the ovens can be supplied with low air speed, high laminar or turbulent air speed, or with a carousel. It has excellent temperature stability and distribution achieved by using an inner chamber with a controlled air flow. It is ideal for ageing finished products and large test pieces which are unsuitable for cell ovens.
MODEL : EB 04-II, EB 10-II, EB 12-II, EB 26, EB 27
Stress Relaxation Test System
Stress Relaxation Test system for continuous measurement in either compression or tension. Meets the requirements in ISO 3384, ISO 6914 and ASTM D6147.

Automatic Relaxation and Creep Tester, EB 18-II-3
The instrument has 3 test stations and an individual control of each test station as well as the temperature of each cell. The test rigs are based on our relaxation rig EB 02, but here the lowering and raising of the rigs as well as the compression or stretching of the samples are motor driven by a servo motor.
The instrument is, by default, delivered with compression plates and 1000 N load cells with a temperature range between +40 up to +200 °C. Other accessories such as for testing in liquids, tension or temperature range up to +300 °C must be ordered separately.

TR Tester, ET 01-II
TR Tester, ET 01-II, for determination of low temperature characteristics by the temperature retraction procedure according to ISO 2921 and ASTM D1329. The values TR10 and TR30 are often used in material specifications. The software can present a curve with the elastic retraction up to 70 %.

Gehman test, ET 02-II
Gehman Tester, ET 02-II, for determination of the relative stiffness characteristics of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubbers, also called the Gehman procedure. The test is done according to ISO 1432, ASTM D1053, or equivalent standards. The result is presented as the relative stiffness where the stiffness in RT is 1. If the test piece dimension are put into the software it can also calculate the modulus as a function of temperature.
