Gehman Tester, ET 02-II
ELASTOCON Gehman Tester, ET 02-II, is an instrument for determination of the relative stiffness characteristics of vulcanized or thermoplastic rubbers. The test is also called the Gehman procedure. The test is done according to ISO 1432, ASTM D1053, or equivalent standards.
The Elastocon Gehman Tester is equipped with 6 testing stations, is computerized and able to perform the tests automatically.
The computer system controls both the temperature rise and measures the torsion angle of the samples. The results will be displayed in a graph and RM2, RM5, RM10 and RM100 values are calculated. The result can also be presented as a table.
An automatic cooling system with liquid nitrogen is recommended, which can be supplied.
