Laboratory roll mils are used for batch wise plasticizing, mixing or kneading in the plastics, elastomers, ceramics and rubber applications. They are used in the plastics and rubbers industries for quality controls as well as in the R & D for product and process development work. The two rolls mill consists of machine frame, rolls, driving gear, lubricating device, cooling and heating device, adjusting device of roll nip, safety brake, motor and reducer, etc. The rolls are made of special chrome-steel with smooth surface after polished, hardened, and grounded. Two rollers rotate reversely with different speed, so that the materials are drawn into the gap of the two rollers for processing.
